A NOTE FROM THE PASTOR

Blessings to all of you this week! We had a great time last week as we took some time to hear about what God is doing in the lives of two of our missionary families. Please continue to pray for those families as they face those transitions. This week we return to the book of Joshua. God has been teaching us many things as we seek to follow Him in this generation. One of the truths we examined two weeks ago was that God hates sin. Sin is what causes a separation between Him and us. Yet it seems that too often we have too soft a view of sin. We tolerate it and often condone it as part of our personality. There are even times that we go so far as to say, “God made me this way,” laying the blame at God’s feet rather than owning up to our wretchedness. This week we will take a look at the consequences of “personal” sin. We will explode the myth that it does not hurt anyone else. And we will find that God is faithful to forgive us when we repent. I look forward to our time. Have a great Memorial weekend.
Pastor Dave
