A Note from our Pastor

Loss. We deal to some extent with loss every day. We find ourselves failing to walk in obedience to the commands of our Lord. Some of those failures seem small, but some seem mountainous. Those opportunities to obey can never be retrieved or taken back. And as Pastor Tim Keller says, “The older we all get, the more we realize that certain losses are irretrievable; they’re gone, and that sucks the joy out of our lives.” (Adapted from Tim Keller, “Jesus Vindicated”, PreachingToday.com). As we gather this week, we will look at the encounter of Jesus and Peter following the resurrection. In this encounter, just as Peter was granted hope in the face of failure, we too will find hope of restoration and new beginning. I hope that you can join us this week as we encounter a Savior who restores. I look forward to celebrating the resurrection with you all.
Serving a risen Savior,
Pastor Dave
